Last summer…at Band Camp…
|
|
Well forget about last summer, because there’s this summer. Well, okay…this fall, Band Camp is scheduled for the weekend of October 25 and 26. Because of the popularity of last year’s camp, it seems like this will become a yearly event. The itinerary includes sectional practice, clinics, symphonic band rehearsals, and an evening concert for small ensembles. Of course there will be plenty of time open for fun and free time for a bonfire, group activities, and many other things to do. Partners and band groupies are welcome to attend. August 19 is the National Softball Tournament for GLBT Leagues; September 13 is Gay Day at King’s Dominion; September 20 is the Pride Festival in Durham/Raleigh, NC., with an invitation to join the local band for the parade; September 27 is the National Cathedral Open house.
