DC’s Different Drummers has a unique uniform that allows members to add identity sashes to the uniform. With the release of the new uniform last year members had the choice of a generic DC Flag, Rainbow Pride, Trans, Bi, Bear, Leather. With 2022 season approaching, they have added Nonbinary and Progress Pride sashes as options for members to display their pride. The Marching Band Uniform was designed by Jarred Carey from G2 Performance and has been a hit with audience and members alike. You can spot the Marching Band in this year’s Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in addition to the pride parades in DC, New York and Baltimore.
